Featuring all new on-board electronics, including a completely redesigned audiophile grade 2-channel amplifier, the M200 MKII brings a new level of performance to the legendary Swans active monitor. Unlike most of their ABS injection-molded plastic counterparts, the M200's feature audiophile grade construction from the ground up: heavy duty gold-plated binding posts, high-conductivity gold plated RCA inputs, and an extremely solid 15 lb. MDF enclosure (that's 30 lbs. a pair!) with impressive internal bracing and a structural rigidity rivaling the most elite audiophile loudspeakers on the market. However…it's what lies inside this enclosure that really makes the M200's special.

The M200's utilize a specially designed long-throw 5.25” midbass woofer designed to deliver incredibly high-output and authority in a desktop-friendly cabinet. Combined with the cavernous internal volume and tuned rear port of the M200's assymetrical enclosure, this 5.25” woofer delivers a coherent, tight, and authoritative full-range output without the need for an additional bass module crowding your leg room.

And then there's the tweeter. The M200's impressive midbass is complimented with an airy, smooth, and extended high-frequency presentation. The secret behind this detail is the elegant ferro-fluid cooled 1” German silk-dome. Unlike that hard-edged piercing high-end you'll get from most full-range drivers used in plastic multi-media systems, the M200's silk dome is unmatched in it's ability to produce the most subtle details in pure sonic bliss.

The result? Music, movies, games all come to life with stunning 3D imagery. In fact…once you hear the M200's for yourself you might want to replace the speakers in the rest of your home. Thanks to the beautiful Walnut wood-grained side panels and acoustically transparent black-cloth grilles, the M200's are certainly not a speaker suitable only for the office.
